A Family Store-y
Kardish has a rich Ottawa history dating back to 1979. Kardish’s current owners, Robert and Carey Assaf, grew up in Ottawa and worked alongside their father, Michael, in a Kardish store the family owned. Throughout the years, the two brothers played various roles in the family business, eventually acquiring full ownership of the company in 2010.
Since then, they have worked together to grow the company in the region with the goal to support growing families with the best quality health food products available. True to their roots, Robert, Carey, and their employees continue to be involved in the community, always seeking new ways to foster awareness and engagement on community and individual health issues.
Now with more than 70 employees and a dynamic management team, Kardish is the largest health food retailer in the Ottawa area.
